Mr. Speaker, I would like to present a petition dealing with the matter of child and family services. Mr. Speaker, the petition contains 15 signatures from Inuvik residents. Mr. Speaker, the petitioners request that the Legislative Assembly immediately conduct a comprehensive review of the Child and Family Services Act in order to recommend changes to this legislation and its administration that would be more effective in supporting NWT families and more respectful of northern families.
