Thank you, Mr. Chairman. I didn’t know there was staff at the Youth Secretariat. That was to support the staff and what else? I didn’t hear the very last thing that the director indicated.

I guess I’m wondering the opposite. If the communities would have an option to leave this exactly where it is, under the control of MACA, and transfer the rest of the community transfer process, just setting aside this issue for now, parking it for now until the communities are more comfortable to take over land administration.

Mahsi cho, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, areas near Lutselk'e and Fort Resolution are under constant pressure, various pressures from industry to extract non-renewable resources from the land. Mr. Speaker, I realize the responsibility for monitoring the land and water from an environmental perspective lies with the federal government; however, Mr. Speaker, the communities feel that our government should take some responsibility to ensure that the land and water is protected from environment degradation.

Currently, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources has responsibility for wildlife...
