Winter Lights Across Canada

The City of Yellowknife and the Legislative Assembly invite you to celebrate Winter Lights Across Canada!

• 4:45 pm – Gather at Somba K’e Park to watch it light up for the season.

• 5:00 pm – Follow the festive lights from City Hall to the Legislative Assembly, where warm beverages and treats await.

This annual event, part of a nationwide celebration led by the Government of Canada, lights up landmarks coast to coast. Join us for a festive evening featuring:

• The Great Hall lighting by Speaker Thompson

• A performance in the Great Hall

• Christmas trees decorated by kindergarteners from Yellowknife, Ndılǫ, and Dettah

• A visit from a special guest from the North Pole! 🎅
