(YELLOWKNIFE) Monday, May 26, 2025  Members of the Legislative Assembly has recommended the appointment of a new member to the Human Rights Adjudication Panel. The four-year term would begin June 1, 2025.

Jessi Casebeer is a resident of Yellowknife and has been practicing law in the north since 2016. Jessi’s varied background gives her a strong foundation in dispute resolution, principles of evidence and administrative procedure.

The Human Rights Adjudication Panel is an independent tribunal with the authority to hear and decide cases in a fair and impartial manner. Cases may arise as the result of a complaint referred for hearing or an appeal of the dismissal of a complaint by the Director of the Human Rights Commission.
