Yellowknife (Wednesday, April 19) – The Honourable Frederick Blake Jr., Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, invites the communities of Aklavik, Tsiigehtchic, and Fort McPherson to see the Official Mace of the NWT.

The Mace goes on community tour to share the rich history of this symbol of the Legislative Assembly that honours the culture of the Northwest Territories by bringing together northern elements, painting, carving, metalwork, beadwork, quillwork, and pebbles from each of the 33 communities.
