Statements in Debates
Thank you, Ms. Lee. Next on my list I have Mr. Ramsay.
Thank you, committee. I’ll ask the Minister if he wishes to bring in witnesses.
Thank you, Mr. Krutko. It is clearly related, Mr. Krutko. I am going to allow that question here. Minister Lee.
Thank you, Mr. Beaulieu. I think we will complete this section first before moving onto that, community services. So I have next, Mr. Krutko.
Thank you, committee. Does committee agree that this concludes Department of Health and Social Services infrastructure 2011-2012 Capital Estimates?
I will ask the Minister if he wishes to bring in witnesses. Minister McLeod.
Mr. Speaker, I will try and put this as plainly as can be. I am not talking about negotiations at all, Mr. Speaker, I am asking the Premier to commit to a comprehensive public consultation process, an inclusive one on what Northerners want for a northern land and resource management regime. I am sure it will be useful in negotiations, but I am simply asking for him to commit to putting that in place as soon as the AIP is signed, should it be within the life of this government, with a transition document for the next. Mahsi.
Does committee agree that that concludes the capital estimates for the Department of Justice?
Thank you, Mr. Speaker. I seek unanimous consent to return to item 8, oral questions, on the Order Paper. Thank you.
---Unanimous consent granted
