My last question is that, since the September 7th operational report, I would suspect and if the Minister could confirm that we will receive the year-end or season-end operational report identifying the achievements and the learning expectations for next summer included in that report? That leads me to my next question. I know we are entering into the last closure of our sailing season, which is very important to many of the communities. Then afterward the next phase for the community is isolation until the next access season.

I am wondering if the Minister would check into the Sahtu communities, three in particular, if dry goods and products are destined. Particularly Norman Wells, the vehicle support needed for winter road operations for the Department of Transportation or DOI, and Health and Social Services' new facility is waiting for furniture. If the Minister could...

Mahsi, colleagues. It is the first day at school, so you slip a bit.

Mr. Speaker, we are moving forward with the mandate, strategies, and commitments. We are also pleased with the recent Liberal infrastructure dollars that were announced. Mr. Speaker, efficiencies and reviews are prudent principles of governance. As we advance on the downward cycle of our term, I look forward to replies of the strategies and the progress reports. Mahsi, Mr. Speaker.

I look forward to engaging community consultations or a regional forum with the Minister, so would the Minister provide me some suggested dates here over the coming summer on the availability to discuss in some form to include community leaders of the Sahtu and also discuss some of the fruits of the labour of this document here for the rest of the term so the general public can have an idea what are the objectives for the term of this government? Will the Minister commit to a regional Sahtu forum to engage in the delivery of the survey?

Thanks for that response to the Minister. The attraction in the Sahtu this time of year is very ideal for fishing. As part of the consultation here, will the Minister commit to developing an action plan based on the survey so that a next step engagement is consulted with the forum if it is on a regional basis, and commit to that action plan being delivered as well?

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. As I mentioned in my Member's statement, my question is to the Minister of Housing. My first question: will the Voices on Housing survey be shared with the community leaders to a public forum? Mahsi, Mr. Speaker.

Thank you, Mr. Speaker. The NWT Housing Corporation released its survey, a 172-page document, right from homelessness to home ownership. Addressing the demands for the people in the Northwest Territories is challenge by itself. Firstly, I agree we cannot meet the demands for housing over the term of this Assembly; however, Mr. Speaker, efforts to minimize this continued demand would only be satisfactory.

Mr. Speaker, there are many obstacles. Our first encounter on delivery is our fiscal position. Although we have received limited federal funding assistance, I am supportive of the Housing...

Will the Minister provide that information so we can relay it on to the leaders of the region? Once they know the challenges faced by the department, they will know how to assist and encourage the younger people to seek the appropriate qualifications in order to make medical aid a career of choice. If that information can be provided to me, I will forward that on.
