Yellowknife (May 19, 2023) – The Honourable Frederick Blake Jr., Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, and Member for Sahtú, The Honourable Ms. Paulie Chinna will be visiting schools in Tulita and Délı̨nę̨ to tour the Official Mace of the NWT.

The Mace goes on community tour to share the rich history of this symbol of the Legislative Assembly that honours the culture of the Northwest Territories by bringing together northern elements, painting, carving, metalwork, beadwork, quillwork, and pebbles from each of the 33 communities.
